I woke up early this morning and after a little devotional. I decided to head out into the frozen, foggy morning. Here are a few of the mornings pics. Burrrrr it was cold out there!!!

Folklore holds that the relative amounts of brown (in this case yellow) and black on the skin of a Woolly Bear caterpillar (commonly abundant in the fall) are an indication of the severity of the coming winter. It is believed that if a Woolly Bear caterpillar’s brown stripe is thick, the winter weather will be mild and if the brown stripe is narrow, the winter will be severe. (Wikipedia)
Maybe our winter won’t be the coldest place on earth this year.
“April showers bring May flowers.” We have all said this at some point in our lives. It has taken on a whole new meaning for me. I grew up in New Jersey and every April brought rain and lots of it. It would be a dreary month for a young child, but it brought beautiful May flowers. However, the past few days in Colorado has been a different story. Mother nature has brought us SNOW. I don’t think I have ever seen SNOW in April, especially after having a week of temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s. Our daughters had fun in the snow this morning.
