Ship Rock, NM
I spent yesterday in Farmington, NM. I was down there attending a class for my job. I had never been to Farmington before, and I looked in a visitors guide to see what I could do. It recommended Ship Rock for some photo opportunities. I decided to check it out. 
Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta
This past Saturday our family headed down to Albuquerque, NM to attend their Balloon Fiesta. It was our first time attending this event. Apparently, the wind was blowing to hard to get the balloons off the ground. The balloons where inflated and they had a Twilight Twinkle. The operators would fire up the gas which would gave their balloons a fiery glow in the night. Plus we had the pleasure of seeing Venus.

Morning Light
In early morning stillness, before the glow has lit the skies,
I lie upon my bed and slowly open up my eyes.
Though gray is all around me as I glance around my room,
I know the Light is coming to chase away the gloom.
For darkness holds no power to corrupt or to deceive
If I but turn toward the Light and say, Lord, I believe.
As surely as the Son did rise, the dark will pass away
As truth and love come shining into the break of day.
Today I will not cower; there is nothing that I fear.
Whenever I call out his name, I know that he will hear.
Each morning he reminds me, when dawn becomes new day
That Christ the Lord has risen and comes to light my way.
