This pictures are from a few weeks ago, when my brother and I climbed the High Dune in the Great Sand Dunes National Park. If you ever get the chance to come and visit, I highly recommend climbing the Dune. Its a lot of work but a lot of fun. It took us about 90 minutes to reach the summit, and 10 minutes to come down.
A re-post of photos from my February morning at the Great Sand Dunes National Park.
Wifey, Auntie C and I took our kids to the Sand Dunes for some sand boarding. It was a lot of fun and the kids got sand in places they didn’t even knew they had. Wifey and I did take our turn at sand boarding and we each had a blast. We are still getting sand out. Its a great way to spend an afternoon.
So far I have been to the Great Sand Dunes National Park in late summer, winter, and now Spring. There really isn’t a bad time of year to go. Every season provides its own spectacular beauty. It makes is much fun to photograph and just to have fun with your family.
