Travel Play

I think our family has spent a little to much time in airports. Our daughters enjoy packing up their suitcases and pretend they are traveling various destinations. This afternoon it happens to be Seattle on Alaska Airlines. They have pretend boarding passes which they hand to the gate agents, and they store their carry on luggage and sit down and buckle their seat belts. Life really does imitate art or in this case Life imitates play.

  1. Oh yes, I know that! As big decisions need to be made: Do I take the doll with, or at the plush rabbit. But I could also take the fire truck … no, the does not fit in the suitcase. So it’s the doll? And a piece of advice from mommy or daddy is definitely not desirable. (:-))
