“April showers bring May flowers.” We have all said this at some point in our lives. It has taken on a whole new meaning for me. I grew up in New Jersey and every April brought rain and lots of it. It would be a dreary month for a young child, but it brought beautiful May flowers. However, the past few days in Colorado has been a different story. Mother nature has brought us SNOW. I don’t think I have ever seen SNOW in April, especially after having a week of temperatures in the 60’s and 70’s. Our daughters had fun in the snow this morning.

We live in northern California (think Oregon, and you’re close to what it’s like) We’re near the coast so it’s a marine climate. Very mild. No extremes. When people complain about the rain or whatever I just want to tell them how lucky they are, but I think people believe complaining about the weather is a constitutional right. Oh yeah, free speech.
Yep, you guys don’t have it easy up there in the Northwest. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog.
I love CO snows…and I think it’s fun when they come in April 🙂
